At Sticky Fingers Pre-School we provide quality child care for children aged 2 – 5 years in a warm and welcoming homely setting. We aim to ensure that children feel secure and safe in a place where they can play, learn, explore, and discover.
With this in mind we encourage curiosity and the use of the imagination - the basis for science as well as the arts. Our aim is to make learning fun.
We see each child as an individual, and build confidence and skills in a natural and enjoyable fashion.
Our well-trained staff will encourage your child to develop through play and a variety of activities as well as helping him or her to get along with other children, sharing, listening and expressing ideas. These are great lessons, not only for Big School, but for life!

We are located on the northern edge of Loughton about half a mile from the centre, and within the grounds of St. John's Church. CLICK for a map. Our full address is:

We understand that choosing a nursery for your child is an important decision. You need to feel confident that nursery staff will understand your child as an individual and provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment. With this in mind please get in touch to arrange a visit and see what we have to offer. We are fortunate to have a stable and well-motivated staff group, and largely through their efforts we are a popular facility for young children. This means that we are usually full or close to full, but we do keep a Waiting List.
Pre-School Opening Times
We are open on week-days between 9:20 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. for 38 weeks of the year. We have extended sessions available (subject to demand) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, through to 2:20 p.m. If your child will be staying on for one of these you are asked to provide a healthy packed lunch.
